Hakata is known across Japan for two dishes: mizutaki, a home-style hot pot with a rich white broth made by simmering chicken for hours, and Hakata ramen. In this experience, you get to taste both in a single bowl. In a ramen shop kitchen in Daimyo, near Tenjin, you will try draining the noodles the way ramen chefs do, heat the mizutaki broth and plate your bowl with the toppings you like: white and green onions, red onion, chicken chashu, egg, wood ear mushrooms and nori. Then enjoy it fresh, right where you made it. You also take home kashiwa inari as a gift: sweet fried tofu pockets filled with chicken rice, flavored with yuzu kosho (citrus pepper paste). The broth is made from chicken only, and no pork or pork-derived ingredients are used (not halal certified). Join from just one person, in one hour.
