Why NOREN exists

Small hosts, local trains, and a Fukuoka & Kyushu you can only meet in person

Fukuoka and Kyushu are full of places and people most travelers never hear about. In some towns the population is shrinking, stations have closed, and the companies that keep the trains and buses running are struggling to carry on. The people who quietly keep small cultural traditions alive rarely have time to tell the world about them, and some of these things are disappearing without a sound. NOREN wants to be the place that connects these small hosts with travelers who come by train or bus, meet you locally, and leave locally. That is why we would like to list yours.

How it works

Step 1

Apply online: four short fields

Your name, email, where you are based, and a short note (10+ characters) about what you would like to host. That is all. You will receive your login details by email.

Step 2

Answer a few questions, your page is ready

Log in and open the page builder. Answer the questions one by one and a draft of your experience page is written for you, or simply paste a flyer or an email and we sort it into the right places. Photos can come later. NOREN checks the finished page and publishes it.

What you offer isn't just an experience. It's a warm memory that stays with your guests for life.
