Shota Toshiya is a Fukuoka-based professional photographer with a different philosophy. While most kimono photo experiences focus on perfect poses at famous landmarks, Shota's approach is quieter and deeper: he captures genuine emotion, unguarded smiles, and the small moments between the obvious shots. Over 3 hours in Dazaifu — surrounded by 1,300 years of history at Tenmangu Shrine — you'll wear a beautifully selected kimono and walk through one of Kyushu's most photogenic landscapes. Shota will guide you, never pose you. The result: photos that feel like memories, not portraits. Whether you're shy in front of the camera or experienced with photo shoots, Shota creates space for you to simply be.

How to get there

Gather in the plaza just outside the ticket gates of Nishi-Tetsutaifu Line "Dazaifu Station." It's approximately 30 minutes by Nishi-Tetsu train from Fukuoka City.
